Loon Song Gardens specializes in daylilies (Hemerocallis) for northern gardens.
Loon Song Gardens is the home of Mike and Kathy Lamb in Champlin, Minnesota, located about 30 minutes northwest of Minneapolis.
Just down the road is Elm Creek Nature Reserve, with 4,900 acres of habitat for abundant wildlife and outdoor recreation. Hearing loons from the nature reserve on warm summer evenings inspired the name of our garden.

We grow about 1,200 named daylily cultivars (varieties) and hundreds of seedlings in the demanding environment of USDA hardiness zone 4. We offer a wide selection of forms, sizes, and colors at competetive prices.

Discover the magical world of daylilies
Delightful colors, forms, sizes, and enchanting beauty await your discovery. Our paths invite the visitor to meander among beds filled with daylilies, companion perennials, annuals, dwarf conifers, and ornamental shrubs.
Loon Song Gardens is open by appointment only, but we would be delighted to have you visit. Please contact us to set up a convenient time. Groups are also welcome to make an appointment to tour our gardens.
Please note that peak bloom begins about the second week of July. Digging and shipping begins for us about mid-May, depending on the weather. For details, see Visit Us.

Give us a try! You, too, will soon be enjoying the magical world of daylilies!
We are an official American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) Daylily Display Garden
We are proud to be an official AHS Daylily Display Garden. Qualifying gardens must grow a variety of modern daylilies to help educate the public and to show ways of using daylilies in landscapes.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Happy Gardening!
