‘Molly’s Favorite’ is a quirky Unusual Form with a vivid blue-purple eye, pinched petals, and quilled sepals.

H. ‘Molly’s Favorite’ (K. Lamb 2015) Tetraploid.

40" height, mid-season, 7" flower, 5-way branching, 24 buds, Crispate-Spatulate Unusual Form with quilled sepals, semi-evergreen, tetraploid. (‘Swallow Tail Kite ’X ‘Riddle Me This’) $50/double fan.

A little quirky!

The large blue-purple eye will catch YOUR eye. Clear purple color and wide open throat complete the clean look. Pinched, twisted petals plus quilled sepals add fun. Well-branched scapes stand tall, even when loaded with large purple-tinted buds.

The cross (‘Swallow Tail Kite’ X ‘Riddle Me This’) produced interesting seedlings, but this was the most outstanding for clear color and plant habit. Easy pods and pollen. We expect to see seedlings of several fun crosses with ‘Molly’s Favorite’ bloom in 2019!
