What to see

Mature Scots pine, spruce, maples, and black locust trees surround the four and one-half acre property. Grassy paths lead the visitor on a pleasant stroll through the display beds, while shady areas offer a place out of the sun to make your visit even more enjoyable.

Historic farmstead structures, including an 1860s farmhouse, wagon shed, smokehouse, and stone hen

house create the setting for a collection of historic daylilies (from Hemerocallis species to cultivars from the late 1800’s through 1970).

petunias

Modern daylilies share display beds with dwarf conifers, hydrangeas, ninebarks, coral bells, hardy geraniums, ornamental grasses, and more. Special daylily collections include doubles, unusual forms and spiders, and patterns. Hundreds of seedlings are under evaluation for our hybridizing program.

Loon Song Gardens is an official American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) Daylily Display Garden.

We look forward to sharing our garden with you!
